Brandon’s Clarke Caswell had his name called at the 2024 NHL Draft in Las Vegas, Nevada

Caswell was the lone Manitoban to be selected at the 2024 NHL Draft, going to the Seattle Kraken in the fifth round (141st overall). The 5’11”, 176 pound left winger scored 26 goals and 77 points in 68 games for the WHL’s Swift Current Broncos last season.

Caswell represented Team Manitoba at the 2022 WHL Cup in Alberta, registering a goal and an assist in five games.

The NHL Draft is held annually after the completion of the NHL Playoffs and brings together the thirty-two (32) teams to select the rights of the best amateur hockey players who meet the draft eligibility requirements.
